SP Group recognises that strong community relationships and meaningful societal contributions are integral to our long-term success and corporate purpose. We seek to create shared value by going beyond essential services delivery to support social wellbeing and resilience, particularly for seniors, youth and children from lower income families.
We adopt a strategic and long-term approach to community engagement, working closely with stakeholders to ensure our initiatives remain relevant, responsive and aligned with evolving needs.
Where our operations interface directly with communities, such as during infrastructure development and maintenance works, we commit to clear and timely communication, with the objective of minimising disruption to residents, businesses and other stakeholders.

SP marked its 30th year of corporatisation and Singapore’s 60th year of independence with yearlong community outreach initiatives. These were launched at the SP Community Festival, celebrating the spirit of philanthropy and volunteerism. It brought together SP Group’s leadership and employees, alongside community partners, to deepen understanding of community needs. We also reaffirmed our sustained engagement and collaborations with our anchor partner Community Chest Singapore and other social service agencies.
At the festival, SP Group announced a three-times matching scheme for all staff donations till end 2025. This resulted in a doubling of staff donations that year compared to the previous year. SP Group also launched SG60 Journeys from the Heart, hosting 600 seniors, youth and children on customised experiential trips to places of interest in Singapore. Accompanied by staff volunteers, known as SP Heart Workers, these journeys on electric buses created memorable outings while underscoring SP’s commitment to sustainable mobility. Leveraging these milestone initiatives, SP Heart Workers clocked 12,000 volunteer hours – a 45% increase from last year. All business units participated in volunteering during the year, with 40% of our employees volunteering at least once. We also delivered 10,000 Power Packs of daily essentials to beneficiaries of different age segments, with items customised for the needs of each segment.
SP Group’s philanthropic contributions are stewarded through our long-standing partnership with Community Chest, the philanthropy arm of National Council of Social Services. Community Chest channels 100% of donations to critical services delivered by SP’s partner social service agencies. This structured approach enables us to maximise impact by strengthening our partners’ programmes and ensuring resources are directed towards areas of greatest need.

In 2026, SP Group committed S$2.1 million over three years to TOUCH Community Services, enabling the formation of the SP CHAMP League. The programme supports over 700 children and youth aged 7 to 17 from lower-income families through mentoring, academic tutoring and structured enrichment activities that strengthen cognitive skills and support social mobility.

SP Group also continued its partnership with KidSTART through a S$1.1 million donation that ensures the sustained delivery and expansion of the PowerUP Playtime programme. The initiative provides age-segmented toys and learning tools for pre-schoolers from lower-income or vulnerable households, fostering stronger parent-child bonds, joyful learning experiences and positive early childhood development. This brings our total contribution to KidSTART Singapore to S$5.4 million since 2021.
