We have received reports of customers receiving phishing emails or text messages seemingly from SP Group or SP Digital, asking them to click on a link to perform actions such as:
1. Make payment for outstanding bills, or to receive a refund
2. Update their billing information to receive uninterrupted service
3. Opening an account to be part of the community to combat climate change
4. Download an app and log in to purchase/sell carbon credits
These messages, which may also bear the SP Group logo or spoofed email address with permutations containing “SP Group”, are not from SP Group or SP Digital.
DO NOT respond or click on links in such messages. Please remain alert and guard against scams.
