A delegation from SP was at the International Forum on Power System Transformation 2025, an energy utilities conference organised by State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) from 19-20 May in Beijing, China. SP was among the co-hosts of the event.
Stanley was a panelist at the CEO Roundtable where he shared Singapore’s journey towards a net-zero energy system and highlighted the importance of strengthening cross-border partnerships to advance our collective green energy agenda.
In conjunction with the forum, SP signed a Strategic Cooperation Memorandum of Understanding with SGCC to deepen our partnership through technical exchanges that will advance our energy transition capabilities. The MOU also outlined the intent to explore commercial cooperation across the region.
As part of the forum, the SP delegation visited Zhangjiakou in Hebei province, to see the Zhangbei Demonstration Project. This is a key project in China that integrates wind and solar power, combined with a battery energy storage system and smart grid transmission.
