Integrated systems that improve energy efficiency, occupant comfort and lowers carbon footprint
Through integrating district cooling and heating, renewable energy solutions, energy storage, smart monitoring and predictive maintenance, our comprehensive suite of smart building energy management solutions provides a holistic platform for offices, retail malls, factories, hospitals and residential townships to seamlessly monitor, manage, and optimise their energy operations.
MyTengah Singapore’s first eco-friendly smart energy town
In collaboration with the Housing & Development Board (HDB), SP Group will develop sustainable energy solutions at Tengah, making the housing estate Singapore’s first smart energy town.
Other “green” solutions that will be incorporated include vertically deployed building-integrated photovoltaic systems, and electric vehicle fast charging hubs coupled with battery energy storage systems. The suite of integrated solutions aims to generate efficiencies and energy savings for Tengah residents.
SP Group and Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) are building Singapore’s first multi-energy urban micro-grid at the university’s campus in Punggol Digital District. The micro-grid is specially designed for Singapore’s tropical climate and will integrate gas, electricity and thermal energy into a unified smart energy network.
It will enable SIT to tap green energy sources and technologies such as Solar Energy, Energy Storage Technologies, Micro-Grid Controller and Energy Digital Management System to save energy and reduce carbon emissions, equivalent to removing close to 2,000 vehicles off the roads.
SP Group is working with the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City Investment and Development Co. Ltd to provide district cooling and heating, and sustainable energy solutions such as solar, energy storage, energy efficiency and integrated energy management systems at the China-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City (GKC).
The implementation will enable GKC to enjoy substantial energy and cost savings as well as a cleaner and more sustainable energy future for GKC and for Guangzhou city.
International Urban Design Centre (IUDC), Wuhou The Smart Eco-district in Chengdu
SP Group is partnering the People’s Government of Wuhou to provide an integrated solution that includes district cooling and heating system, smart metering, energy management, as well as developing and implementing technologies and digital solutions such as advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence tools.
The solution is expected to achieve up to 35 per cent energy savings in cooling, and over 50 per cent energy savings in heating, compared to conventional air-cooled cooling and boiler systems.
